I pick up FREE Kid Guides/Parenting Magazines and Newspapers so that i can find places/events to bring the kids. I make calendars and lists so i can formalize the plan. never been to the pirate park but i read about it in the FREE magazine -- which had a 2-for-one coupon. SCORE!!
Dude, if only i could put 'parenting' on my resume. i am a personal assistant, social planner, gopher, chauffeur, etc... that's on top of my full time job outside of the home. love it!!
today- i gotta pat myself on the back.
1. i made myself a list of things needed for Soccer and Awana
2. found said items then packed all into my McGyver bag. [i never watched McGyver but i am McGyver]
3. heated up frozen whitecastles and gathered other snacks - packed said items all into my McGyver bag.
4. fielded phone calls while rushing out the door
5. picked up kids, helped AJ into soccer shin guards and cleats
6. drove AJ to soccer, watched jasmine in the park
7. drove kids to Awana [late, but that's ok]
8. already mentally preparing for snacks needed for jasmine's Awana class next week...and other things on the House of Yee Calendar.
