i keep a pretty busy schedule with little downtime - sorry... i don't know how to not overschedule sometimes because i want to enjoy every second of life!
i think that's just the way it is after the kids are born... social calendar juggling. family + friends+ kids' activities+ misc, + etc.
i'm thankful that i don't have a dozen kids to manage...because if i can't even manage my own time... no way could i manage time for a dozen kids. [ok...i'm rambling now... my sentences might not make sense to the reader but they make sense to the read-ee... i mean - writer].
....no camera to visually capture the moments - not sure if i do that on purpose or not on purpose... but i'm not too stressed about it. i keep some of the memories in my heart. i can't rely to much on keeping the memories in my head...come on, now...i forgot the camera.
recent moments to remember:
*yes, that was us at Lina's christening. we came in the middle of mass and left in the middle of mass. that was my two monkeys climbing over the pews and banging the kneelers on the floor. jasmine asked to go to the bathroom LOUDLY...that's when we exited..stage left. was just about to come back inside the church then she asked to go to the car ...then the bathroom again. oy vey.
*horse festival in western suburbs - two thumbs up! i love finding these free events. free pumpkin painting and horse-related shows/events. baby girl melted down- tantrum. so i walked away from her hoping that she would stop and follow. instead she stayed right where she was..crying...looking like a little lost girl. another parent actually went up to her ...probably to help her find her mommy. i yelled out 'oh! it's ok..she's with me!' he quickly walked away..didn't even look at me.
still i didn't go over to her ...couple minutes pass. then a forest preserve officer comes over to her... probably to help her find her mommy. i told the same thing to the officer 'she's with me' ...jasmine is one tough cookie who holds her ground.
