my daughter is like me sometimes.
doesn't want to comb her hair or dress up sometimes. will wear the same clothes the whole weekend.
but when she wants to wear a little bit of makeup ...she does it with gusto.
am i teaching my daughter to be superficial? i hope not.
maybe the first day, i felt like i was hiding behind the makeup. now, i feel like i am enhanced to a more beautiful me.
my daughter? who knows if she will be a girly girl or a tomboy. for now, she wears my bath & body body spray and likes glitter nail polish.
i hope she finds her beauty inside and out.
makeup i hate right now:
*my liquid foundation - it's matched for my skin which i like...but i want to switch after trying the Bare Escentuals powder foundation. other than the spf 15...not sure if there is any 'good for your skin'stuff in the my liquid foundation.
* my waterproof mascara that all the magazines rave about. i hate the brush and i hate how clumpy my lashes feel with it. gonna throw it out right now.
makeup i want but don't have yet:
*facial cleanser. i'm using joe's clearasil daily wash but wanna try something new. might do aveeno, garnier, or bare escentuals.
*bare escentuals light to medium foundation kit. i really like how it feels and looks on my skin. why didn't i buy you???? this would be a good mother's day gift or a gift certificate would be great to this store (that's a hint hint...i hope my mahal reads this and catches this hint)
*bare escentuals black eyeliner - i loved how it glided so smoothly in the store...why didn't i buy you???
*eyelash falsies - why not?
makeup in the arsenal that i love right now:
*travel body sprays from victoria secret and bathy & body works: i'm too cheap to buy 1 bottle of perfume for $50-75.00 ..but i will buy several different travel size body mists equaling $50-75.00. interesting. i like to switch it up.
*nail polish less than two bucks. i like to switch it up but i don't go to the nail salon often.
*victoria secret lip gloss
*neutrogena blush/bronzer in rosy glow
*my cheap eyelash curler
*eyemakeup remover from sephora- i get racoon eyes after putting so much eyeshadow/eyeliner...this stuff is coolio.
*under eye concealer from MAC - crap, i didn't realize my under eye circles were getting darker. thank you whoever invented this stuff.
