We went to Dinah and Ken's for Thanksgiving (Nov 22-23). Thank you Dinah and Ken for hosting this year... no problem if you want to host Thanksgiving next year also!
In Between (card game) interrupted so we can do our Secret Santa between my Mahal's cousins. Each of us listed down 3 items that we want our Secret Santa to get for us. Whoever has me: remember I like Kohl's Target or Victoria Secret!

This is what goes on during the holidays... the women upstairs talking about anything and everything. The men playing cards in the basement. Kids are playing upstairs. Glen, Kuya Arnold, and my Mahal don't play cards - you can find them in front of the TV ....falling asleep. 
I wonder what Mom is talking about. ...a big bird? she's flapping her arms in the previous pic.

L to R : Quentin, AJ, Ken, Dinah, Abby, Weng, Tita Mely, Lea, Tita Precy, Tito Lito, Mama Rosie, & Caje.*In Between: every hand, everyone puts in a bet (they did 5 cents). Dealer deals 2 cards to each person. Check your cards. When it is your turn, dealer will flip/show you the top card. Prior to the flip, you are betting that the # on the top card is in between your two cards. Percentage of winning the hand is higher when your 2 cards are far between each other (example 2 and queen; suit doesn't matter). If your cards are close (example 2 and 5) then you can throw away your hand ...or you can bet but it's a bad bet. if you get an Ace - you have to call high or low with your bet. Double Aces - i don't think it matters, you win either way. double number (example 7 and 7) you have to call high or low ....so if you have a double 7 and you bet high - you need the top card to be higher number than a 7. Usually, we go around clockwise to figure out who gets to bet first on that hand and also on the next round. Doesn't make sense for the winner to go first with the next hand because you can win twice in a row.... You can bet as little as you want (equal to ante or higher) or you can bet the whole pot.
