do I look like a tattoo type of person?
i'm not. no desire whatsoever. actually..i take that back. i have a slight desire to get a henna tattoo if the price is right (less than 10 bucks). my kids' names on my arm.. that would look so coolio.
otherwise, no permanent body art for me. i don't mind tats for other people..but again no desire for permanent tattoos on me.
1. i have a huge keloid scar on my shoulder. so i pretty much think i shouldn't get a tattoo knowing any marks, wounds, and scabs can turn into huge keloid scars.
2. pain. no thank you.
3. i'm older.
i've seen old tattoos on old people when i worked in the hospital. not pretty, folks. I asked an old dude what his tattoo was.. he had no clue.
4. i had a belly button piercing in 1998. that was enough adventure for me. i actually liked it and thought it was a cool experience... at the time.
i had it taken out ~2001. it kept getting infected..kinda annoying. kids..when you're older and you get a chance to look at mommy's weird belly button...it's because she idiotically got it pierced. so not only does mommy have stretch marks and lots of flab and cellulite to worry about..she has an odd-looking belly button.
5. i'm cheap. come on now... i won't even shell out more than 10 bucks for a henna tattoo.
